Three major Solar Eclipses occur in 2005 & 2006, which will release ancient energetic, spiritual and psychological patterns, held within human and planetary consciousness since the beginnings of human incarnation from the times of Lemuria (April 2005 Eclipse), and the catastrophic changes that occurred after the time of Atlantis (October 2005, and March 2006 Eclipses).

The Eclipses of October 2005 and March 2006 are exact “mirror images” of each other, echoing the ancient axiom of “as it is above, so it is below” (see the diagrams and information below). This website will focus on the relationship between these two eclipses. We will be taking a Mythic Journey to sacred sites in Greece and Turkey for the March 2006 Eclipse – it will pass directly overhead of Çatal Höyük in Turkey, a 9,000 year old city, referred to as the “ancestress of all other cities”, and believed by many to be the birthplace of the ancient Goddess religion at the dawning of the Age of Cancer.

Background to the energetic effects of Eclipses on planetary and human consciousness: Our research into the Astrology and Astro*Cartography of the Total Eclipse of August 1999 revealed a wealth of information about the effects of Solar Eclipses on the energy grids of the Earth, and the “knock-on” effect on human consciousness. Here is a brief précis:

The Earth’s energy grids (ley lines, dragon lines, icosahedral, dodecahedral grids etc) consist of a complex network of subtle energy patterns and lines that criss-cross the Earth and bearing a close relationship with the electro-magnetic field (EMF) of our planet. These are the “acupuncture meridians” of the Earth and exist on many levels and dimensions of consciousness. Just as in acupuncture, they are the vital energy pathways through which consciousness in all its manifestations - divine, angelic, human, elemental, planetary, animal, vegetable and mineral - anchors into the physical body of the Earth. The energy lines carry the multi-dimensional frequencies of consciousness, ranging from the highest, most refined spiritual levels of being - Christic, Buddhic and Divine consciousness - to the lower astral and etheric levels; all of these carried through the medium of the “life-force” energy, known variously as “Ch’i or Qi”, prana, vital force, etheric energy, and so on.

This life-energy holds memory, so that every event, thought and feeling that has ever occurred on Earth (and in human beings for that matter) gets recorded, or held – the so-called Akashic record – we can look at this as the energetic “imprint” that events, thoughts and feelings impact into the subtle energy grids of the Earth and energy bodies of the human being.

Just as traumatic events in our personal history can get “stuck” in our energy field and eventually result in illness, if they are not healed and released, so too can this happen on the Earth, particularly in areas where there has been conflict, violence, bloodshed, anger, lies, deception, abuse, and so on. Equally, positive imprints are held in the energy field, also.

These imprints are held in the subtle bodies of the Earth, and in its electro-magnetism (magnetism attracts and holds). Our own emotional / astral bodies are particularly affected by the Earth’s EMF – you only have to observe the mass changes in human emotional behaviour during Solar Flare activity which creates magnetic storms in the electro-magnetic field. This EMF activity is particularly strong at places on the Earth where the EMF is more concentrated, such as at sacred sites. These are places where, in the past, the energetic and magnetic properties and their affects on influencing and raising human consciousness, were understood, and used in order to assist in the re-alignment with our innate divine nature….many of them still work to this effect today, although few work to their full potential, because the knowledge of how to tend them and open them fully has been lost or corrupted by superstition or partially understood tradition, even when there may be some vestige of memory held.

Currently, there are some particularly interesting effects on the EMF, due to the Sun having not completed its magnetic pole “flip” last year (not sure of the source for this):

“High Solar Activity Has Scientists Stumped Defying predictions, the sun continues to ignore its established 11-year solar cycle. It has remained extremely active long past what should have been the beginning of the solar minimum, and now another group of enormous sunspots has appeared on the far side and is rotating in our direction.

Eight coronal mass ejections (CMEs) have exploded away from the sun since July 22nd. This high level of activity is not producing auroras on Earth, however, because none of the CMEs is heading our way. All of the blasts have been on the farside of the sun. That's about to change, though, according to solar observers, because the active area is rotating in earth's direction.

Last year, the sun may have signalled a period of unrest when the solar magnetic pole shift, which takes place every 11 years, failed to complete. The sun's magnetic field is now in a more-or-less horizontal position, because the shift between north and south poles did not complete.

Whether or not this has anything to do with high levels of solar activity is unknown. Normally, not even the most violent solar explosions have a significant effect on earth, beyond disrupting radio and satellite communications and, in extremely rare cases, affecting power grids that are improperly shielded against solar energy. However, sufficiently strong coronal mass ejections also bring heat with them, and this can cause ground temperatures to soar over the short term, especially in dry areas. Given the large number of dry forests on earth at this time, should such a CME head toward the planet, further heating and drying can be expected, and, in some cases, there is the possibility of spontaneous combustion, especially of plants rich in volatile oils.”

Sometimes the Earth energy has been deliberately “blocked” in order to make it inaccessible. Christian saints in Ireland, for example were particularly fond of “cursing” ancient sites, which was often a deliberate closing down of the energy in order to break the energetic connections between sites and their ability to connect us directly with the Divine, and so making people dependent on the ministrations of an intermediary – the priest…but that is another, very long story.

However, the beauty in all of this is that if we approach these sites with an open heart, humility and a genuine wish to re-connect with their divine essence, the sites themselves and the consciousness which they hold, are usually very willing to reveal their secrets to us, because that is their natural function within consciousness. If we come out of self-interest, ego or power-based wishes, they will either remain tightly shut, or only show us a small part of what they can teach us. I was once forced off a particularly sacred site in Ireland by a violent hailstorm on a sunny day, when my curiosity took me to a part of the site that it clearly did not wish me to see. As soon as I turned around, the hailstorm stopped!

Most sites are multi-layered and multi-functional – just as a Christian church is a place of meeting for prayer, for ceremonies, marriages, christenings, funerals and burials, memorials, celebrations, so too the ancient cites were multi-functional.

Stonehenge is one of the finest examples of this. One cannot help but be amused at the inevitable and regular “discovery of the true function of Stonehenge” by one or other scholar, mystic, scientist or space cadet – it most probably had all of these functions and many more that are completely beyond our current ability to understand. After 4 years of attending Full Moon meditations regularly inside this magnificent site, I have come to see it as a parable of the paradox of the Universe – no matter how you might approach it, or regard it, from whatever discipline, you can make sense of it, and it will reveal astounding secrets and insights. The mystery is how anyone had the depth of vision to create a structure that is so multi-dimensional in its significance.

The Sun and the Solar Wind

The Sun is constantly streaming out energy and charged particles into the solar system – called the “Solar Wind”. This has a direct effect on the EMF, and an indirect effect on human consciousness.

Put simply, the Solar Wind flows into the EMF through the polar “cusps”, which are like doorways above the north and south magnetic poles of the Earth…this is what causes the Aurora Borealis. The particles and energy and the subtle energies that they carry then flow down, north to south predominantly, through the Earth’s north-south (Solar) energy lines, which are the main “warp” upon which the Earth energy grids are “woven”. The east-west (Lunar) lines make up the “weft”, and then the rich tapestry of the Earth grids is woven by the ley lines, dragon lines, and sacred geometric patterns that lie around the world’s major and minor sacred sites. All of this rich and diverse energy grid is highly responsive, not only to the events which take place upon it, but also to the movements of the Solar Wind, the Moon, the planets and even the stars overhead, as the Earth turns in its daily rotation. If you think of the Earth grids being like the strings of a harp, then the movements of the planets and stars across it as it rotates, are the fingers that play it. This is particularly accentuated during a Solar Eclipse.

This quote from “The Disappearance of the Universe” by Gary Renard a very graphic description of how the magnetic fields of the planets interact: “..let’s say you could look at your planet from outer space, from half the distance to the moon, and that you could see chi. You’d then be able to see that the Earth is completely encased by electro-magnetic chi that’s carried to it and past it, in the form of a huge flow of radiation from your sun. The flow of chi is constantly changing, with yin and yang going in and out of balance and everywhere in between balance. The changes in the chi are caused, in turn, by the constantly changing radiation on the sun.

Now, if you could look at the sun up close from space, you’d see what could be described as enormous swirling oceans of gas. What few realize is that these oceans of gas behave in a similar fashion to the oceans of the earth. Just as the tides of the earth’s oceans are subject top the movements of your moon, the tides of these solar oceans of gas are subject to the pulling and pushing of the total interaction of all the planets in your solar system, and even the universe beyond it – which of course is all connected. This causes different gaseous tides, sunspots and other solar events – which in turn regulate the changes in the flow of the radiation while it’s carried to the earth as particles via the solar wind, or directly by sunlight.

This changing radiational flow, regulated by the movement within the entire solar system, including the earth and its moon, causes corresponding changes in the chi surrounding your planet and sends electromagnetic fields into every inch of it. You can’t see these chi fields with the body’s eyes, but they’re everywhere – and you’ve been walking right through them every day of your life. They regulate everything about you, including your decisions and resulting movements. They are actually thought from a completely different level, transmuted into the form of chi telling you what to think on this level. Everything you do follows from what you think, and sometimes it follows instantly, like a reflex.”

Solar Eclipses and their effects on the Grids

During a Total Solar Eclipse (TSE), the eclipse shadow carves a path across the energy grids, often covering large areas of the Earth. It is a dowsable phenomenon as the shadow passes over the Earth’s surface, the energy in that portion of the grids “powers down”; in other words, the life-force energy in the grids which normally sustains and maintains both the positive and negative patterns and imprints held within the grids in that area, drops away to almost nothing. This enables the energetic imprints in those areas to be released; quite literally, the release of shadow qualities that may have been held there for centuries, and sometimes for millennia can be released and healed. At the same time, as the planets’ meridians pass over Earth’s sacred sites, so new energies, frequencies and archetypes can be imprinted into the grids. If there are people gathered at these sites to receive the energies while it is happening, then the effect of the imprinting can be greatly magnified by the positive, loving intention of those gathered.

The main figure in this pattern is a red blue and green “Learning Figure”, consisting of: Saturn in Cancer square Moon’s Node, Venus, Moon, Sun in Aries, all quincunx/inconjunct Ceres in Scorpio. Star connections: Saturn at 20º 41’ Cancer is conjunct Castor (constellation Gemini) at 20º17’ Cancer. Neptune at 17º 09’ Aquarius is conjunct Sualocin (constellation Delphinus the Dolphin) at 17º 26’ Aquarius. Pallas Athene at 27º 50’ Virgo is conjunct Alkaid (in Ursa Major) at 26º 59’ Virgo.

Solar Hybrid Eclipse

The Hybrid “Lemurian” Eclipse

A Hybrid Eclipse is a rare event – it means that (due to the curvature of the Earth and the Moon’s distance from the Earth) the eclipse starts as an Annular Eclipse, then it becomes Total, then it returns to being Annular again. Energetically, this suggests that it is resonating into the etheric levels of the planet for the first part of the Eclipse, then during the phase of Totality, it releases shadow energies from the Earth grids, and imprints new frequencies, then releases again from the etheric levels during the last part of the Eclipse.

This Eclipse passes almost exclusively over the Pacific/Lemuria, beginning to the south of New Zealand and ending over Venezuela:

“The path of this event begins as an annular eclipse but it changes to total about 2200 km south of Tahiti. At maximum eclipse (UT), the duration of totality is 45 seconds. Unfortunately, the total portion of the track never crosses land. The path becomes annular again about 800 km west of Costa Rica. By the time the shadow reaches the coast of Costa Rica, the annular phase will already be 12 seconds and growing. The Hybrid nature of this Eclipse, which is passing over the ancient area of Lemuria, is significant. Much of the information and literature about Lemuria talks about it having been more etheric than physical, and that it was during the end times of this phase of human evolution that the “Fall” into 3rd dimensional, material existence began. Eclipses always have the potential to release old energy imprints and thought-feeling imprints from within the energy grids; so this one echoes the descent into the material realms of Lemurian times, and perhaps foreshadows a return to the etheric levels of being.

The Learning Figure planets:
Saturn (in 12th house), on the Ascendant, conjunct the star Castor. Saturn MC Astro*Cartography line running down through the Atlantic Ocean at 33º W 51’ and passing near Recife, Brazil. Saturn is clearly imprinting into Recife during this Eclipse and the next one on 3rd Oct 2005 (see below). Recife is anchoring the energies for the Age of Capricorn, commencing in about 2160 years, and has been featuring strongly in many of the Eclipses since August 1999. (Just as Joseph of Arimathea came to anchor the energies for the Age of Aquarius in Glastonbury and Cornwall 2000 years ago). As Saturn has been passing through Cancer, it has been bringing up issues of care and nurture at every level. Here it is conjunct Castor, carrying the more positive polarity of the twins, Castor and Pollux. This is about the need to focus on the positive aspects of the forms and structures that we create in order to take care of our world (inner and outer), and also to look for the positive polarity behind the Shadow and any negative events, when they occur. Castor is concerned with refinement, having affinities with Apollo, with Ahura Mazda (God of Light), with Horus, and with Christ. Saturn is about focus, and this Eclipse is about the need to focus on positive spiritual qualities; it is a healing Eclipse, healing patterns that were laid down in Lemurian times, and the Atlantean times of the Great Flood – it is no surprise then that we are now seeing floods causing devastation the world over, reminding us of those times, and giving the opportunity to heal the deep scars within the collective human memory, as we come into resonance with those cycles and patterns again.

The 12th house/ascendant cusp position focuses on collective patterns, and in Cancer it is concerned with the spiritual and energetic realities lying behind the biological realities of this world. Hence it concerned issues such as GM, cloning, abortion, environmental issues and much more.

Saturn is in a position where we need to truly understand how to balance the inner and the outer, and to care in ways that are based in spiritual realities, not in dogma, blind belief, or unconscious fears.

The square aspect to the Sun, Moon, Node and Venus suggests that we need to pioneer new ways (Aries) of expressing love, whilst allowing old, outmoded attitudes about what love is, to die; to go beyond our narrow ideas of where and to whom our responsibility to love lies – the quincunx to Ceres indicates that it lies with the whole planet, and being in Scorpio, it is the responsibility of each one of us to heal the darkness and pain of the planet, as we heal the darkness and pain within ourselves. In order to do this, Ceres’ trine to Juno/Mercury indicates that this is achieved by recognising and acknowledging the spiritual reality of our own soul, and accepting the challenge of Pallas Athene and Pluto to live that inner reality with power.

Pallas Athene and Alkaid

Pallas is conjunct the star Alkaid (also called Benatnasch) in Ursa Major (Great Bear/Big Dipper). This star corresponds with the 1st Ray of Divine Will or Power. One cannot help but notice the similarity of “Alkaid” to “Al-Qaeda”. The name “Alkaid” has a Moorish, hence Arabic origin. One of its meanings is “destroying”. The first Ray is connected with the power of Shiva, who destroys in order to re-create. The Great Bear is essentially connected with the Great Goddess or Divine Mother. What we are seeing in the struggle between western civilisation and terrorism is the enacting of the struggle that is occurring within consciousness as the Divine Feminine principle is returning and re-asserting itself in the collective psyche. Both the actions of the terrorists and the responses of the western world to those actions have been lacking in any real awareness and connection with the Divine Feminine principle, hence both exhibit extremes of the (male) use of power, without actually addressing the internal psychological and spiritual causes of the conflict – if this is not addressed, it will just get worse on both sides. Thankfully, since the London bombings in July 2005, these aspects are beginning to be addressed, and deeper connections made – the meridian (MC) of Juno (asteroid of soul connections) was passing directly over London as the first bombings occurred on 7th July 2005.

The balancing factor is the power and strength of the Feminine Principle, of compassion and wholistic intelligence applied to the conflict. This is not to condone or excuse the actions of terrorists, but nor is it to condone or excuse the actions and policies of western governments that have tipped the balance so far that the terrorists feel that they have no alternative…at a much deeper, unconscious level, the terrorists are enacting a response to the extreme materialistic and opportunistic behaviour of the west, and its loss of touch with true spiritual realities. This whole process is very unconscious, driven by forces much deeper or more powerful than we might imagine, or even fully understand. The culture of the “West” has developed so far from any true connection with the Spirit that the response is from an equally obsessive, fundamentalist and out of balance “belief” in an avenging God. Both extremes are unbalanced, and until a third factor (feminine, heart-centred intelligence, which has the ability to perceive and understand the whole picture) is engaged, then there will be no solution, and the destructive power of Shiva will continue to express itself through both the terrorists and the west, and the danger that it will end in the destruction of western civilisation as we have known it. This is already happening with the extreme counter-terrorist measures that are now being taken world-wide, which are already heralding the end of our so-called “democracy”, individual freedoms and human rights. The sad fact is that the response that the Western world is producing is actually in the throes of destroying the very principles of freedom and tolerance that it claims to hold most dear, and the tragedy is that by continuing to follow this course, the terrorists could win, because our response to their actions will destroy western civilisation as we know it…ultimately we will do it ourselves, which would be ironic, to say the least. So here, with Pallas Athene conjunct Alkaid, we have the opportunity to bring the clarity of Divine Feminine awareness to bear on the destructive aspects of the 1st Ray, and with Pluto still within 2º conjunction of Ras Alhague, the healing star of Ophiuchus, the Serpent-Bearer, it is possible to transform these potentials into true planetary service, and understanding of the deeper issues at stake here. Pallas Athene is directly overhead of Aksum in Ethiopia, reputedly the last resting-place of the Ark of the Covenant. She is focussing her spiritual wisdom and power in an area of the world where the creative power of the feminine, and her peace-making abilities, are sorely needed. What is being eclipsed here is a pattern that was laid down a very long time ago, in Lemurian times, and after the “Fall”, and the ensuing denial of the Divine Feminine that has endured for so long – the “Fall” is blamed on Eve, after all – this goes a long way back. The controversy caused by Dan Brown’s challenging book, the Da Vinci Code, is clearly another example of the re-emergence of Pallas Athene and the importance of the Divine Feminine, and the resistance to it by the orthodoxy.

Mars and Neptune are conjunct Sualocin in Delphinus, the Dolphin, bringing the healing energies of Love to the collective memory of the destruction by water that occurred in Lemuria 25,000 years ago, and later in Atlantis, 10,000 years ago. Chiron, the healer/shaman is nearby in the same sign, Aquarius, bringing its healing energies to bear on these ancient and deep patterns. Love is bringing the balm that will heal these deep and ancient scars within the collective psyche. The Astro*Cartography lines for Mars and Neptune are passing through the Pacific between New Caledonia and Fiji, and then down into south island New Zealand. They are resonating very closely into the Callanish/Gaia north-south great circle line, which is one of the planets main Goddess meridian lines. Vesta, keeper of the eternal flame has her north-south line passing through Rapa Nui / Easter Island.

Saturn enters Leo - 16th July 2005 12.34 UT / 13.34 BST

By using the location for Saturn’s position overhead, this gives the position of the astrological houses from an overall planetary perspective, and is therefore relevant for everyone, no matter where you happen to be in this moment. The chart for your personal location at this moment, would show how you will experience and integrate these energies.

The presence of Saturn over Mali is highly significant, occurring as it does during the so-called “Opening of the Lion’s Gate”. (This from Celia Fenn):

“The Lion's Gate is the most powerful stargate that activates Earth's energy field. It was known to the ancient Egyptians and they celebrated their New Year (then), on about the 26th of July. This celebration was marked in the skies by the "heliacal rising" of Sirius. This is the time when Sirius rises in conjunction with the early morning sun. It is visible as a bright star as the sun rises. It was an alignment of the Sun and Sirius that was understood to be the herald for new life and abundance in Egypt, for it occurred in conjunction also with the rising of the Nile river which brought the annual floods and produced food and crops for the people of Egypt. But, as above, so below. The priesthoods and wise people of Egypt knew that the abundance came primarily from the potent stellar energies that flooded the Earth with the alignment of the Sun and Sirius in relation to the Galactic Center. This surge of energy through the Lion's Gate lifts the earth to the next level in her ongoing cycles of evolution. This event is also concurrent with the movement of the Sun into the Fifth sign of the Zodiac, Leo, the Solar sign of Creativity and Passion. This is why it is called the Lion's Gate. Leo, or the constellation of the Lion, guarded the entrance to the Sirius Stargate.”

These days, due to the precessional “wobble” of the Earth on its axis, Sirius rises exactly conjunct the Sun on 6th July. By the 16th, Saturn Ingress, there is a wide conjunction of Sirius, Sun and Saturn, with the Vertex*, which is a “point of destiny”. So, here Saturn too is involved in opening the “Lion’s Gate”. *The Vertex and Anti-vertex are opposite points where the Ecliptic (Earth’s path around the Sun) intersects the Prime Vertical (great circle which intersects E & W points, through the zenith and nadir of the chart’s location).

Saturn over Mali, West Africa

This is emphasised by the “co-incidence” that Saturn is above Mali as it enters Leo. The Dogon tribe of Mali has a tradition of accurate knowledge of the cycles of the stars of Sirius A and Sirius B, not observable by the naked eye. So, the “spiritual keepers” of the Sirius wisdom are deeply connected with Saturn entering Leo. Saturn will bring to light the shadow energies and qualities from the past that have been associated with any misuse or abuse of the opening of the Lion’s Gate. Saturn is also concerned with manifestation – so the challenge will be to manifest the highest qualities offered by this stargate integrating those qualities into collective consciousness.

The Astrology of the Saturn Ingress:

This is a very powerful and balanced ingress of Saturn, with some strong aspect figures involved. There is a Kite, a “Learning Figure”, a Grand Cross, and an extended Yod /Finger of God, called a “Striving Figure.”

The Kite:

Pluto in Sagittarius in 2nd house, at the “tail” of the kite, opposes Vesta in Gemini in 8th house, with sextiles to Mercury conjunct Venus in Leo in 10th house, and Mars conjunct Node in Aries in 6th house, both completing the kite, with trines back to Pluto. Asteroid Vesta, at the apex of the kite, opposes Pluto at the tail. The quiet knowing of the inner heart (Vesta) is challenging the traditional power base and power values of the day-to-day world, and through intelligent and loving awareness using each person’s creativity to move forward boldly and align with their hearts’ understanding of their spiritual purpose. At the “wings” of the kite are a conjunction of Mercury and Venus, and a conjunction of Mars and the Moon’s North Node: The ability of the kite to “fly” with this intention, requires the intelligent application and communication from mind (Mercury) and heart (Venus), with the resolve to act (Mars) with spiritual intention and purpose (Moon’s Node). In short, this kite is about the innermost hearts of people expressing their spiritual power in the world, leading those who are in power and holding them to account…heart-centred democracy, or at least the beginnings of it. Saturn will, of course bring up all the unconscious fear and resistance to this that lies within us, and within our leaders, as it progresses through Leo – this is about releasing the creative potentials held within the collective human shadow, and bringing it out into the Light – it is likely to be a bumpy, but inspiring ride!

The Learning Figure:

This is formed by Mars conjunct Moon’s north Node, squaring Saturn, quincunx Pluto. In these figures, the energy dynamic always runs from the red (square) aspect to the green (quincunx) aspect to the blue (trine) aspect: Mars & North Node in Aries challenges us to act from the highest aspect of our spiritual motivation – Right Action – by confronting our creative limitations, fears (Saturn in Leo) and past beliefs (Saturn in 9th house). The learning comes from Pluto challenging us to truly walk our talk, turn our beliefs into values, and to let go of any belief systems that we cannot actually live out, or which mean that we give our power away to others at any level. This figure challenges us to act from a place of total integrity and personal honesty, and to realise the power that we have when we act in this way from the heart and from our deepest truth.

The Grand Cross & Striving Figure:

This is challenging us to integrate the transcendent realms and our spiritual compassion with our personal feeling patterns and awareness of the need to really strive to care at a very personal and real level for others and for the planet. Saturn itself is conjunct the Sun and opposing Chiron: It is about bringing the shadow into the Light, out into the open for healing, drawing on the courage of our inner voice, our convictions and intuitive knowing, in order to achieve this. These two figures working together are uncompromising, and set the tone for the whole of Saturn’s passage through Leo over the next two years until September 2nd 2007, when it enters Virgo. In short the message echoes “we will be watching you”, which at the negative shadow level may manifest as the “surveillance society”, but at the Light level is about self awareness, self observation, acting with integrity, and insisting that others, particularly those in power, do the same. We have already seen the seeds of this with Live8 and the G8 in Scotland (July ’05). Also we are seeing the criticisms of this as being naive, selling-out, and so on – all hidden, unconscious shadow motivations will come to the surface – the important bit is that the process has begun, and hopefully will mature as the shadow comes to Light – it will be hard to avoid seeing it.

“The equinox on the 22nd of September 2005 heralds that which has long been awaited within the innermost being of all of Creation, through the emergence of the heart of the Goddess back into the universal matrix within which the Earth resides…. Upon this day the heart of your own universe held through the Christic Consciousness of the Melchizedek will merge within Cosmic Embrace with the essence of the Holy Spirit that is contained within the focus of the Shekinah Universe held through the Sisterhood of Love. This fission represents then an opening of twelve new vibrational bandwidths that have previously not been directly available within the experience of all beings within this universe – and allows a full return of the consciousness of that which directs love into the group conscious field of all beings….
With the original conception of the perception of the Fall into individualised states of consciousness and the formation of the Shekinah, Christ and Melchizedek Universes what occurred was a fracturing of the trinity of essential elements making up the three fold flame of the eternal. Into the Melchizedek Universe was infused the Light of Source, into the Shekinah Universe the Love of Source and into the Christ Universe (within which the Earth resides) was infused the creational essence of Source….
With the fusion of the Shekinah Universe into that of our own, it is thereby the original essence of love existent within our own universal realm or heart is remembered, this is a return to the original knowing of the love that exists within for all – rather than the perpetuation of a search for love that exists somehow beyond the self.
…up until this juncture in time…it is as if the love and the light of Source has been channelled into your universal realm from some perceptually separated source or realm of being – as if within the experience of the universal consciousness ensouling your creation – that the love and the light of being has come from some perceptually separated source to self.
This is the original wound of the Christ Realm of Consciousness – the perception of the imbalance between the masculine and the feminine through the perception of separation from the core of love and of light within your experience.
So it is Gaia and twelve others within your creational realm that have taken upon themselves the karmic experience of this original wounding and that upon the equinox release this through the Christed Feminine Heart of the Egyptian Energetic Matrix (Egypt holds the Christed Feminine Heart upon the Planet – where as the Peruvian Islands (sic) anchor the Christed Masculine Heart through the Solar Seals of the Atlantean Energetic Matrix) and once again to Source.
Within the living star heart of the Earth… seven seals will open thereby and align with the ephemeral fire of the Holy Spirit of the Shekinah – entering through the Capstone of the Great Pyramid. The Astrology of the Light Synthesis Matrix:

The main patterns are: a “Kite”, with Moon at the “tail”, Ceres conjunct the Vertex at the “head” and Chiron and Sun conjunct Mercury at the “wings”. A “Trapeze” Neptune sextile North Node, square Vesta, trine Venus, square Neptune, with internal quincunxes from Vesta to Neptune , and Venus to North Node.

The Kite carries a message of healing. The Moon is conjunct Mirfak, the alpha star of the constellation, Perseus. It was Perseus who rescued Andromeda from the sea monster. (The doorway to the Shekinah Universe is focused through the Andromeda spiral.) Here the Moon is receiving the spiritual warrior energy from Perseus that is going to liberate the Andromeda/Shekinah energy, and carry it on the healing wings of Chiron, the wounded healer (Chiron represents our primal wound that arises from our perceived separation from Unconditional Love), and the Sun/Apollo with Mercury/Hermes. Sun and Mercury here represent the possibility for the healing of the human mind, and its perception of being separate from Oneness. At the head of the Kite lies Ceres, the Divine Mother and nurturer, conjunct the Vertex, which is a point of destiny in the chart. These two are conjunct the star Toliman in the constellation of the Centaur, which connects with Chiron again. The Centaur is going to the altar to make a sacrifice, for the healing of an age-old wound – in this case the perception of our separation from the loving embrace of the Divine Mother / Shekinah, which is Ceres in her heavenly aspect. The Vertex brings inevitability to this process – it is time to heal the old wound of humanity’s sense of separation, now!

The Trapeze: The Moon’s Node reveals the spiritual purpose – it is conjunct Alderamin, in Cepheus the King, which features strongly in the coming October Annular Eclipse (see below). The Node is focusing towards the kingly quality of Cepheus who honours the divine masculine, the divine feminine and the Earth. The other figures in the Trapeze all carry feminine qualities, Vesta, the goddess of the heart, hearth, inner heart-flame and the kundalini, Venus the goddess of personal love, and Neptune, which carries the energy of Unconditional Love.

It is noteworthy that in both Roman and Greek mythology the sea is attributed to a male God, Neptune / Poseidon. It occurs to me that this is probably a distortion brought about by the patriarchy. It is self-evident that the sea clearly has a feminine quality of flow, fluidity, receptivity and mutability, its movements governed by the Moon, which is clearly also linked with feminine cycles. In Latin, it is “mare”, (Mary, divine mother) in French “la (fem.) mer”, in Greek – ? ?a?assa, ee (fem.) thalassa. So why is the god male?

It is notable that with the coming of the patriarchal societies, the gender / polarity of various gods and mythological figures got changed, and their character becomes quite violent and angry, as is Neptune / Poseidon largely, and of course Saturn / Cronos, who ate his (her) children in an attempt to reabsorb or contain them; containment is a feminine, not a masculine quality. Saturn is at the boundaries of the visible solar system, again concerned with containment and form-giving, which is again more feminine than masculine.

It is like a perversion of the true qualities and characteristics of the planet, when the gender is changed. In other words, when the mythological polarity is changed, their behaviour becomes violent, destructive and psychotic – no wonder our western psyches have bee so disturbed for so long, with these archetypes playing out in the collective unconscious!

Vesta is conjunct the star Sirius, associated with Isis, in Canis Major, Venus is conjunct the star Alphecca in Corona Borealis, and Neptune is conjunct the star Sualocin in Delphinus, the Dolphin. Vesta is conjunct Isis – it was through her tireless searching that she was able to restore Osiris after he had been torn apart and scattered throughout Egypt (separation into duality). It is the love of the divine feminine (Vesta), that can restore our perceived separation from the Oneness.

Alphecca, which is conjunct Venus, is in Corona Borealis - This is a crown or garland of flowers that was given to Ariadne by Venus to celebrate her marriage to Dionysus, the ecstatic god of wine, who is again sacrificed, by being torn apart (see Osiris above). Corona Borealis is an incomplete circle of stars, hence it also has associations with the crown of thorns and suffering. The connection (quincunx) with the Moon’s Node and Alderamin, suggests the possibility of redeeming, or re-connecting the feminine qualities of Venus and Ariadne with the kingly and spiritual qualities of Cepheus. Neptune is conjunct Sualocin, in Delphinus – this is the gentle mastery and playfulness of the dolphin guiding us through the depths of our unconscious to rediscover the beauty of Unconditional Love – it is also the redemption of the idea of a “sea monster”, as dolphins are traditionally associated with love and gentleness in cultures and traditions around the world.

The Annular Eclipse

What occurs during an annular Eclipse is that the Moon is further away from the Earth than in a Total Eclipse. This results in a ring (Latin: annulus) of light around the Moon’s disk, and the “point” of the Moon’s shadow being above the surface of the Earth, in the electro-magnetic field and subtle energy bodies of the Earth.

So, this has quite a different effect than a Total Eclipse. During the Annular Eclipse, shadow qualities are released from the etheric and subtle levels of consciousness, and new patterns are imprinted into the etheric/energetic levels, which will later come into manifestation – in this case, during the Total Eclipse in March 2006 (see below). This relationship between the two Eclipses is reinforced by the fact that they are exact “mirror images” of each other (see ACG charts), illustrating the “as above, so below” maxim. As energy moves down through the levels of consciousness, the polarity reverses at each level, creating as it were, energetic mirror images. Something is being conceived during the Oct 2005 Eclipse, and it will be “born” into consciousness during the Mar 2006 Eclipse.

The Patterns of the Annular Eclispe

Twin “Tension Release” Figure, or incomplete Mystic Rectangle:

The Sun and Moon, in Libra are conjunct the star Diadem, the crown, in the constellation of Coma Berenice, and in opposition to the Moon’s north Node in Aries, which is conjunct the stars Alderamin* in the constellation of Cepheus*, the king, and Alpheratz in Andromeda. *Alderamin and Cepheus (the King, who sits on Galactic Equator) were once in the North Pole position, and will be again in 7,500 CE. (This is due to the precessional “wobble” of the Earth, which causes the spring equinox point - 0º Aries – to move backwards, or “precess” across the background of the zodiacal constellations. It also causes the Earth’s North Pole to point to different constellations and stars during its 25,920 year precessional cycle – it currently points towards Polaris is Ursa Minor).

Alderamin was last in the North Pole position 21,000 – 23,000 years ago, ie: 21,000 – 19,000 BCE…which was the time of the last Aquarius / Capricorn Age change, so it is now starting the preparations for the next Capricorn age in 2160 year. At the beginning of each Great Age (2160 years), the harvest of the previous Age is gathered, and the seeds for the next Age are planted – so, at the beginning of the Age of Pisces, with the birth of Christ, the Magi (Zoroastrians) from the Age of Aries (the ram) came to pay homage, to acknowledge the changing of the Age, and to pass on gifts of power…gold, frankincense and myrrh. Jesus often referred to himself as the Lamb of God – he had embodied the teachings of the last 2000 years, integrating the warrior energy of Aries the ram, and subduing it into the gentleness of the lamb. A famous myth from the Age of Aries is that of Jason and the Golden Fleece, which describes the overcoming of spiritual and physical trials in order to attain the healing power of the ram’s Golden Fleece – the quest of the spiritual warrior.

After the death of Jesus, Joseph of Arimathea, his uncle, came to Glastonbury to plant the holy thorn, thus anchoring in the seeds for the Age of Aquarius, which was, at that time, 2000 years in the future.

Now, as we approach the Age of Aquarius, the seeds for the Age of Capricorn are being planted as Saturn (see ACG chart below) imprints into Recife in Brazil, which will be holding the frequencies for the Age of Capricorn. Close to Recife is New Jerusalem. “This is a life-size replica of ancient Jerusalem, which every Easter Week lives its glory, when local inhabitants perform The Jesus Christ Passion play, to crowds of more than 10,000 persons.

Nova Jerusalém was created by a local Brazilian who had lived in Christianity's Holy City for some four years. When he returned to his native land, he saw that in this part of north-eastern Brazil, the climate and countryside were similar to those of Jerusalem. His admiration for that Holy City inspired him to build a theatre town modelled after historic Jerusalem.

His theatre-city is one-third the area of the old historic quarter in Jerusalem—the size of city during the time of Jesus Christ. It is surrounded by a stone wall, a replica of old Jerusalem's ramparts, incorporating seven gates and seventy towers. Inside, there are 12 permanent stages, each representing a station of the Cross. During Easter week, some 500 costumed, mostly local amateurs recreate the Passion and Crucifixion of Christ. As the tale unfolds, a huge number of visitors move in the theatre-city for each scene from one stage to the next, for some three hours, guided by centurions with torches.”

The Moon’s North Node is imprinting into Hawaii, the planetary Alta Major chakra, whilst the Moon’s South Node imprints into Delphi, ancient navel of the world, releasing the ancient patterns that are held deep within the core of the Earth. The Moon’s Node shows the spiritual purpose of the Eclipse, which is to bring in the archetype for a different role model for male sovereignty – a balanced, focused male energy that is in harmony with the feminine, the Earth and the Cosmos – the true spiritual king. This Eclipse, being annular and therefore concerned with energetic potential, is imprinting that possibility into the subtle energies of the Earth, and into our own subtle bodies to begin a process of releasing and healing old, compulsive male/female control patterns (Venus opposition Mars also) by the application of intelligence (Mercury) and Vision (Jupiter). These potentials can begin to manifest during the next Eclipse in March 2006. The North Node is also conjunct Alpheratz in Andromeda. She was Cepheus’ daughter, who was chained to a rock to appease the sea-monster, Cetus the whale.

Her mother, Cassiopeia had boasted that her daughter was more beautiful than Atergatis, Queen of the fishes. Atergatis and her brother, the Fire King sent floods and earthquakes as punishment for Cassiopeia’s pride. Already, we have a pretty dysfunctional picture emerging here! But there’s more - the (male) priests decide that only the sacrifice of Andromeda would appease Queen Atergatis. So what have we here: Atergatis and the “sea monster”, Cetus are symbols of the priests’ fear of the power of the Unconscious, and the “raw” beauty and creativity of the primordial feminine. Note that unfounded fear is a predominant element here, as most whales are mostly harmless, and certainly not human-flesh eating. This was clearly not a killer whale, because of its vast size.

Cassiopeia represents the female ego, out of touch with her true inner feminine power, and projected onto her daughter, Andromeda. This creates chaos in the kingdom (soul). The priests, also out of touch with the inner feminine, decide to sacrifice it! Brilliant! – I wonder what disasters might have happened next if Perseus hadn’t happened along to rescue Andromeda (Perseus is a conscious, empowered male – his power bestowed upon him by Pallas Athene – ie: he is in touch with his feminine, intuitive knowing…and acts upon it to remedy the situation). So here are other elements of the rich symbolism of this Eclipse – the empowerment of the male warrior, in touch with his intuitive feminine side, to re-empower the kingly quality of Cepheus, and re-instate the power of the feminine in the kingdom (soul).

The Moon/Sun/South Node conjunction with Diadem, in the constellation Coma Berenice at the Galactic north Pole is concerned with letting go of the old pattern of the feminine sacrificing her spiritual power in order to save or protect the masculine from self-confrontation. Berenice offered to sacrifice her hair (her crown chakra - connection with the Divine) to Aphrodite in order to keep her husband safe as he went to battle. So although this was an act of love (Aphrodite), it involved the sacrifice of her full spiritual potential for the benefit of her man – this was not just a personal sacrifice. Coma Berenice lies at the north pole of the Galaxy, and so represents the sacrifice made by the Divine Feminine within each of us in order to be able to come into physical manifestation and “go to war”, ie: experience the duality of the opposites within our nature at the 3D levels of existence.

This Eclipse is saying it is time for this pattern of behaviour to stop, so that men can accept the challenge to return to and embody their true spiritual kingship, and women can return to their natural connection with the Divine feminine, whose wisdom springs from deep within the core energy of the Earth – the same energies that the Pythia, the Oracle at Delphi, used to tap into for her prophecies – this eclipse is making these possibilities available to all – the possibility of being able to draw on the deep resources of our innate divine feminine spiritual wisdom, and enact that through the kingly qualities of our conscious self.

This brings to fulfilment a process, which began with the Total Eclipse in August 1999, with its opposition of Mars and Saturn: Here, it was about releasing ancient patterns of distortion in the relationship between the mother and the male child. For the most part we have lost our ancient rites of spiritual passage for the masculine, so that often, men never gain true emotional, psychological and spiritual independence from their mother. The opposition with Saturn was about the masculine confronting the fear that true emotional independence entails. The mothers have also colluded in this by not wanting their “little boys” to grow up and become fully independent: the net result is that men remain emotionally and unconsciously dependent on women, putting a huge strain on relationships, and ultimately causes the women to disrespect the men, who become more and more confused about what they are doing wrong, and so they become more insecure and dependent, while the women become more frustrated, disappointed and angry – where is the king that they know at a spiritual level, they deserve? And the men are thinking, “where is the intuitive, loving goddess that they know at a spiritual level they deserve – and why is she so angry with me?”

Since 1999, this pattern has been changing at a fundamental level, with many alignments of Mars for the male spiritual warriors and Pallas Athena, for the female spiritual warriors. The October 2005 Eclipse is putting the final pieces in place for it to truly begin to transform as the archetypes of the spiritual king, and the wise woman can return fully into collective awareness.

Incomplete “Mystic Rectangle”

This figure “hangs off” the Sun/Moon to north Node opposition, with blue aspects (trine and sextile) to Neptune in Aquarius on one side, and blue aspects (trine and sextile) to Saturn in Leo on the other side.For it to be a complete mystic rectangle, there would need also to be an opposition between Saturn and Neptune, but there isn’t.

Saturn concerns the material realms, whilst Neptune concerns the spiritual realms. The message here is about seeing these two as not being in any way in conflict or contradictory to one another; it is about allowing matter and spirit to co-exist in harmony with one another, free from spiritual dogma (negative Aquarius quality) and free from the projection of individual fear or guilt, and to allow each person to confront whatever it is that prevents them from manifesting their spiritual creativity on this Earth. These are the “gifts” of the Eclipse, whilst the Eclipse itself starts the process of removing the ancient patterns and psychological and spiritual archetypes that stand in the way of receiving these gifts.

There are some other factors in the chart which will assist in this process:

The two “Learning” Triangles:

  1. Pallas Athene in Scorpio in 11th house, squares Saturn in Leo in 8th house, quincunx Uranus in Pisces in 3rd house, trine Pallas Athene. Energy moves in that sequence. Pallas in Scorpio brings the deep, unconscious, collective-soul memory of the female warrior spirit to the surface, to confront the entrenched attitudes, behaviour patterns, judgements, contrived “morality”, “spin” etc., of “the establishment” at every level (Saturn in 8th house); this triggers the gradual awakening of spontaneous Unconditional Love within collective consciousness (Uranus in 3rd house), which in turn re-awakens the power of the female warrior spirit. Because Scorpio is involved here, there is a deep cleansing and healing process required, which is likely to bring a lot of very old emotional darkness, fear, anger and grief to the surface before its full potential can be experienced.
  2. Chiron in Capricorn in 2nd house, square Mercury / Jupiter conjunction in Libra in 11th house, quincunx Mars in Taurus in 6th house, trine Chiron. Chiron is seeking to heal our deepest held values, and sense of self-worth, which arise out of our biological patterning and memory at the cellular and skeletal level; in other words, every energetic imprint which has worked down into our physical body and helped to mould our deepest attitudes about life at the levels of self-worth and survival. It is doing this by confronting our thoughts (Mercury) and image-making facility of mind (Jupiter)

The Grand Trine

Moon’s North Node in Aries is trine Saturn in Leo, trine Ceres, conjunct Venus in Sagittarius. Node is conjunct the star Alderamin in the constellation Cepheus, the King (see Oct 3rd Solar Eclipse); Ceres and Venus are conjunct Antares in the constellation Scorpio; Saturn is conjunct Giansar in “claws of the dragon” in the constellation Draco.

The Grand Trine is concerned with the emotional integration of the energies of the Solar Annular Eclispe (above). The Node is still conjunct Alderamin, bringing in the energies of the spiritual kingly qualities of Cepheus. The trine to Ceres and Venus, conjunct Antares brings in the qualities of emotional and soul nourishment by connecting to the very depths of the heart – Antares is the star at the Heart of the Scorpion, which requires deep emotional cleansing and purification. The trine with Saturn indicates the possibility for the integration of the shadow qualities that arise from the emotional abuses of the past – here, it is not just the shadow qualities of Saturn, but the very “claws of the dragon”, with its conjunction with Giansar. This is about cleansing our emotional patterns so that we can let go of some very old and dark attachments. There are echoes here of the Andromeda myth; if we can heal the deepest parts of our heart (Antares) which denies or refuses the spiritual nourishment from the Divine Feminine, then this will enable us to let go of our attachments to the physical levels (the dragon), which far from nourishing us, actually takes us away from what our soul truly requires for nourishment….it is about no longer chaining our feminine spirituality to the rock.

The two T-squares

Two T-squares emanate from the Moon. They do not quite form a Grand Cross, as the potential opposition between Vesta and Chiron is too wide for such small celestial bodies. One T-square is Moon opposition Sun/Vertex/Jupiter, square Vesta, conjunct the star Castor in the constellation of Gemini. The other is Moon opposition Sun/Vertex/Jupiter, square Chiron. Sun/Vertex and Jupiter are conjunct the star Arcturus in the constellation Bootes, the Hunter, Herdsman. This is a very interesting pattern:

The Oppositions with Sun/Vertex and Jupiter have a fateful and inevitable quality about them – it is time to move froward from our emotional past, and to grow beyond it (Jupiter). Arcturus bridges the realms between the hunter-gatherer, and the herdsman-farmer. So, this star leads us into new ways of doing things, to new levels of being and survival. At another level, Arcturus is Arthur, the once and future king within each of us, defender and protector of the Grail. This is the cup that held the blood of Christ, which is at the same time, the most spiritual aspect of the human heart (Vesta) and the Earth herself, which received his blood at the crucifixion, thereby transforming the whole aura of the Earth, infusing it with the Christos Spirit (according to Rudolf Steiner)…it was the Earth that became his church, embodying the Christos – again the symbolism of Pisces and Virgo. The T-square with Chiron is challenging us to heal the wounds that stem from our identification with the physical 3D “reality” (Capricorn). This is balanced by the T-square to Vesta, which is challenging us to live from our spiritual heart.

The Mystic Rectangle

This is formed by the Opposition between the Moon, with Sun/Vertex/Jupiter, and the opposition of Juno with Pluto, that forms sextiles and trines with the other opposition. Here, we have to integrate the opposition above, with finding the way to balance our spiritual power (Pluto) and soul qualities (Juno).

A Lunar Appulse Eclipse is one where the Moon passes only through the penumbra of the Earth, and therefore has less of a darkening effect than passing through the Earth’s umbra.

The Grand Cross

This is a South Node lunar eclipse, with the Moon and South Node in Virgo and Libra respectively, conjunct the star Alkaid in Ursa Major. The Moon/South Node opposes Sun conjunct Mercury in Pisces, Sun also conjunct Markab in the constellation of Pegasus. Sun squares Pluto in Sagittarius, conjuncting the Galactic Centre. Pluto is in opposition to Juno in Gemini, conjunct Alnitak and Alnilam in Orion’s belt.

This is a powerful Grand Cross pattern, with some very significant star alignments involved: the Moon and South Node meridian is passing, within minutes of maximum totality, over the sacred site of Wéris in southern Belgium, which reflects the pattern and holds the resonance of the stars of Ursa Major, and in particular, Alkaid (see above re Hybrid Solar Eclipse on 8th April 2005). This being a South Node eclipse, is concerned with releasing old emotional patterns and attitudes around our relationship between the spiritual will (Alkaid is the 1st Ray, Divine Will, star of Ursa Major) and the divine feminine (Virgo). The opposition with the Sun, Mercury (retrograde) and Markab in Pegasus brings a challenge to find an anchor point within all the change that is occurring – Markab is seen as the saddle of Pegasus, the winged horse, providing stability as he soars into the sky (raises his energetic frequency).

Pluto (26º 42’ Sag.) is conjunct the Galactic Centre (26º 55’ Sag.), and so is drawing in the frequency of Divine Will energy, and challenging us to find the means of expressing it through our individual souls via the opposition with Juno. Juno is conjuncting the stars of Orion’s Belt, and therefore bringing in the energies of the Pyramids of Giza, which reflect the pattern of Orion’s belt. So, the whole pattern is concerned with balancing the will aspects of the divine feminine and the divine masculine, and the right use of spiritual power; the key is the release of old emotional patterns that hold us in “wrong” relationship to our spiritual power, through not understanding the ways in which we need to balance our feminine and masculine aspects. How do we find the still point of stability, which can enable our individual souls to give a balanced expression to this Divine Will, 1st Ray energy, which is bombarding the planet at present, and not get carried off into fanaticism, denial or over-reaction?

The answer lies in the pattern below that connects the Moon’s North Node, Vesta, and Ceres, Chiron and Venus.

The Learning Triangle

The North Node is in Aries, square to Vesta in Cancer. Vesta is conjunct the Vertex and makes a quincunx to Ceres, conjunct Chiron and Venus in Aquarius.

Our ability to move forward and fulfil our spiritual purpose is being challenged by the wounds that our hearts are carrying from not acknowledging what it is that we need in order to nourish ourselves at a soul level - the need to heal our relationship with the nurturing qualities of the Divine Feminine. The presence of the Vertex conjunct Vesta adds a sense of fate, destiny, the inevitable – unless we learn to live from our spiritual heart (Vesta), then our lives will become increasingly difficult, and our efforts more likely to be thwarted. If we live from the heart, we can heal and release the wounds from the past, and move forward into our true destiny – why would we resist this? It only requires confronting the ways that we have closed our hearts in the past, and forgiving ourselves for that. The Vertex suggests that this will happen anyway; we can choose to do it willingly the easy way or the hard way by resisting until we simply have no option but to let go.

The “Kite” Pattern – main pattern in the chart:

The kite is focussed on Pallas Athene in Capricorn, in opposition to Vesta in Cancer, with Mercury/Uranus in Pisces and Jupiter in Scorpio, on the “wings”.

Pallas is conjunct the star, Vega (Arabic: stone Eagle), in the constellation of Lyra, which in Egyptian times was seen as Maat, the goddess who holds the balance of the soul. Lyra, the lyre gives mystical power, skill and music that can tame wild animals. This was the instrument of Apollo in ancient Greek times. (Vega was the Pole star in 12,000 – 10,000 BCE - Age of Leo /Atlantis)

Vega is focussing its creative and artistic power through Pallas Athene as the bringer of creative intelligence, and deep insight into the solution to problems, as well as the gift of prophecy. The combination of Pallas and Vega offers the possibility for new insights and solutions into age-old problems, when we look with the heart, Vesta.

Vesta is widely conjunct the star, Sirius – concerned with the mundane becoming sacred, the Isis myth, and healing the wounded masculine, Osiris (see above). Mercury/Uranus are near Ankaa in Phoenix, bringing inspiration/insight and, of course re-birth and renewal. Jupiter is near Zuben Elgenubi, which is concerned with social transformation and penetrating vision.

By understanding the need to nourish our innermost spiritual heart (Vesta) and perceive the sacred within everything (Sirius), Pallas challenges the warrior spirit within each of us to act from a place of truth and inner balance, tempered by intuitive knowing, insight, awareness (Uranus/Mercury) and vision (Jupiter). This is about fully trusting our insights, intuitions and inner perceptions, our sense of “knowing” when we are dealing with truth, or when we are being deceived.

The Eclipse (Sun/Moon/Node) is challenging us to be open at the deepest level of our heart (Vesta) and by being open in this way, to heal our relationship with the nurturing Divine Feminine, and discover what it is that we truly need in order to nourish us at the soul level. Chiron and Ceres are in Aquarius, suggesting that it is the nourishment of the mind that is needed - how to adjust our thinking to embrace the timeless wisdom of the divine feminine, which was embodied in the Pythian Oracle at Delphi in times past. The North Node’s meridian (spiritual purpose) is passing over Delphi at maximum Eclipse, re-aligning us with that timeless wisdom within each of us.

There is a challenge in this figure to use the creative imagination (Jupiter) to explore deep-rooted emotional patterns, in order to perceive how we might cut through the illusions of our lower-mind-based perceptions and pioneer new ways (Mars) in which we can express unconditional love (Venus/Neptune)…time to walk our talk.

Here, Jupiter and Mars together can peel away the layers of emotional experience and the mental attitudes that have arisen out of what that emotional history means for us, and how those attitudes have influenced our relationship patterns. Neptune is asking us to move beyond our past patterns of experience and the beliefs that we have about them, and open to the experience of Unconditional Love.

Saturn in Leo opposes Chiron in Aquarius – Saturn trine Sun, Moon, North Node, Chiron sextile Sun, Moon, North Node.

The Sun/Moon Eclipse and North Node hold the possibility for bringing healing (Chiron) to ancient shadow patterns that stem from the fear of opening the heart (Leo) and expressing our true creativity.

The South Node (Past karmic patterns and archetypes) & Sun / Moon IC (IC holds the “root”, or ancestral energy of the planets) are over Hawaii, the planetary Alta Major centre. This is releasing the spiritual potentials within the pattern laid down during the Annular Eclispe in October 2005 (the mirror image of this eclipse), when the North Node was over Hawaii, and bringing those potentials into manifestation through the North Node /Sun and Moon meridians over Delphi – the navel of the ancient Greek world. According to William Buehler, Hawaii corresponds to the Alta Major centre, planetary rear brain, which connects into our ancestral / shamanic wisdom. Ruth White equates this chakra as the focus for the Instinctual and Lower Causal body, giving the links to our shamanic / nature-wisdom, which connects us into our Devic Nature and evolutionary “memory” of the Oneness, before the division into left and right hemispheres…hence the shamanic awareness of this centre, and the ability to identify with other life-forms, power animals, the Earth-spirit, shape-shifting and so on.

Whereas, Greece, and Delphi in particular, corresponds to the planetary forebrain, through which ideas become manifest in the world – hence Greece became the birthplace of modern, thought-based western “civilisation”. However behind that thought-based patterning lies the rich diversity of Greek mythology, which is also clearly right brain based. Ancient Greece may have given birth to left brain thinking, but it was originally balanced by right brain creative, intuitive, mythological thinking. This Eclipse is releasing the possibility for each of us to develop clear vision and clear knowing.

The relationship between the Eclipses of October 2005 and March 2006 is clearly healing the relationship between our instinctual, causal, shamanic rear-brain and our conscious, thinking forebrain. The 2006 Eclipse is offering us all the opportunity to heal the ancient “splits” between these aspects of our thinking, intuiting and perceiving.
